Today was a super special day at my Pick N Save. It was double double Daze--which means you could double up to 10 $1 coupons on an order of $25 or over instead of 5. I took advantage of this fully! I began planning on Sunday night. Pouring through the ad for Pick N Save and going through my coupons as well.

I try to buy what is on sale and also what I have coupons for on sale. So not only am I getting say chips for $3 instead of 3.99, but I will also double a $1 coupon and get those chips for $1 thereby saving me 2.99. I do buy things not on sale as well, but for this trip today I tried not to do that.

So my trip today was:
1st Transaction:
2-Toaster Strudels 2.25 each 4.50-1.10(doubled coupon)3.40 for both
3-Red Baron garlic bread pizza things 3/9.99-4.5(3 doubled coupons) 5.49 for 3
6-Grands biscuits $1 each 6.00-1.80--4.20 but then I got a coupon for 4 bucks on a future order, making my biscuits 6 for .20 total
2-Trix Yogurts 2/4-1.60 (doubled coupon) 2.40 for both

2nd Transaction:
3 tubes of Blistex 1 each $3-2.10(3 doubled coupons) .90 for 3 tubes
2 pkgs Halls 1 each $2-$2(doubled coupon) FREE
2 pkgs Mucinex for kids 4.99 each 9.98-4.00(doubled coupons) 5.98 for 2 (I might add that the cost of 2 today was less then the actual cost of 1 normally)
6 pkgs shredded Kraft cheese 2/4 $12-6(doubled coupons) $6 but then I also got a $5 coupon for a future transaction)
1 Welch's Mountain Berry juice 2.79-2 (double coupon) .79

1 Trix 3.19, 2 Cocoa Puffs 4.05 8.10, 1 Cheerios 3.39, 2 Cinnamon Toast Crunch 6.50 total for cereal $21.18 - 10 for buying 6 = $11.18 - 8.30 in doubled coupons made my 6 boxes of cereal 2.88 total or .48 a piece. Also got a coupon for up to 3.50 off a gallon of milk.
